At 30 years old, master art teacher, Kristin Dockendorff was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a progressive disease which left her legally blind.
Although her blindness led to losing her teaching career, she has not been sitting idle. After going through several struggles, as well as the end of her marriage, Kristin is acclimating to her condition and sharing her experiences with others.
We will discuss the challenges she has overcome and the life that has become her new normal.
