James Thomas is a singer/songwriter from Vancouver, BC. A blend of Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley and Paul Simon. He plays in a finger-picking acoustic style with lyrics reflecting literary influences from Henry Miller to Walt Whitman. His songs deal with themes of conflict between the search for peace, alienation, the mystery of love, the imagination and self-destruction. His interests span a broad range of topics, with specific interests in yoga, literature and conscious irreverence.
