Bio: My life purpose is inspiring people to live authentic lives, and the vehicle that most effectively expresses my purpose is my calling to facilitate you living on purpose, fulfilling your soul’s calling, and creating and having amazing relationships. I have been fascinated with how people relate (or don’t!), and how some people get along, and others don’t, for most of my life. This fascination led me to immerse myself for almost 25 years in education and experience in human development, personal growth and spiritual exploration. As part of my journey, I earned a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology, and I am licensed as a professional spiritual counselor. I have lived in four countries on two continents, and worked in many diverse commercial business experiences including multi-national organizations, management companies, financial service companies, technology companies, non-profit organizations, retail businesses, customer service organizations, global commerce and manufacturing. I continue to gain greater appreciation and understanding of people, and what we all face and deal with. I invite you to join my mailing list (just over to the right). to find out more. In addition, I am a passionate professional photographer, with a specialization in people, whether at events, in performance, or candid. Authenticity is my calling card. I am excited to have Deva Premal and Miten on as they talk about their lives, music, and concert in Los Angeles, http://www.devapremalmiten.com After touring non-stop since 1991, and with CD sales of nearly one million, Deva & Miten are living proof that the power of mantra is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. Eckhart Tolle, spiritual teacher and best-selling author (The Power of Now), says of their music, "As you listen, the sacred space that lies beyond the mind emerges naturally and effortlessly." The EssenceBrandon Bays, life coach and author of The Journey, describes it as, "carrying the listener into realms of ecstasy, bliss, and joy." Another admirer is rock star Cher, who says of The Essence, "It is my favourite CD to do yoga to. In fact I drive my teacher crazy, because it's the only one I ever want to hear!" Deva and Miten’s music is an expression of spiritual devotion, through song and chant. The couple have been living and playing together since 1991, releasing a string of acclaimed CDs along the way. The openness and honesty in which they share their lives and their music has touched the hearts of thousands of seekers throughout the world. “Our music is born out of meditation and a celebration of life. It’s not a matter of entertaining people.” says Miten.

INSIDE OUT RADIO Dedicates an entire show to Peace by going Silent

After interviewing Deva Premal and Miten on Friday morning. Miten offered me the opportunity to do something radical. That idea is one hour of radio filled with silence. I will introduce my show and end it with a song. In between that will be silence. The silence represents peace. The peace that is where you are now. Om Shanti Om sums this up beautifully. So join the silent revolution and sit in on a radio event. Silence. Close eyes and be with it and see where you go or don't go. Just be. Thank you Miten and Deva for the opportunity to stretch INSIDE OUT.

    INSIDE OUT: Carlo Novoa www.novoasalon.com

Carlo Novoa www.novoasalon.com About Carlo Novoa When he's not in front of the camera his stage is the floor of his hair salon and his audience is anyone who can see or hear him. His salon station is closest to the front door, which is bookended by floor to ceiling bay windows on a busy Los Angeles street. Even if you never stepped foot into his salon, his performance is inescapable...even as a passerby. In fact, it's not uncommon for strangers to wave hello or hold up signs of applause as they drive by from day to day. Carlo started his career as a stylist over 20 years ago. He enrolled in cosmetology as a teenager and finished in record time. As the graduating top student, he was handpicked to interview as an assistant for a Hollywood celebrity hairdresser. Carlo put on his best outfit and made the long trek from his humble Los Angeles suburb to the world famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood. This would be the first place he'd outgrow. Before cosmetology, Carlo had been personally chosen by his high school theatre teacher to be one of only a select few chosen to receive an acting scholarship. It was a new program that would have taken him to New York to study theater as a high school student. Instead, he chose to be a stylist. He knew that Hollywood discriminated by gender, sexuality, size, color, attractiveness and more. He wanted a life free of discrimination. As a stylist, no one would care where he came from, who his parents were or even who he'd kiss. Carlo quickly attracted a loyal clientele. And, as predicted, not one of them cared about the color of his skin. As a person, they fell in love with his charm, his laugh and the unique way he had of appreciating them. As a stylist, they adored the way he listened, how well he understood and then interpreted their desires into the best haircut, color and style they'd ever had. That's why they'd follow him from their very first haircut.uhj

Inside Out: William Whitecloud #1 book in Australia "THE MAGICIANS WAYS"

http://williamwhitecloud.com My association with Magic goes way back. I was born in a small African country called Swaziland, where my parents were carving a 35,000 acre sugar and citrus estate out of virgin bushland. Growing up in such a wild and remote part of the world was to influence my character and personality in many ways, but the most enduring effect that time had on me came from being immersed in the supernatural worldview of the tribes people around me. I seemed to live in an enchanted world where a host of entities and elemental forces wrestled each other for control over the fate of every living thing. Life for me was an endless romp in the Garden of Eden, until I was eight years old, when I was packed off to a succession of Christian orientated boarding schools in the colonial education system. It was forcefully impressed on me that my free spirited nature and heathen superstitions were of no value to the socio-economic machine I was being conditioned to fit into. Ten years later I left school, cured of my innocence and wonder, and thoroughly convinced I had no choice but to find my place within the rational order of Western civilization. But my heart was never in it. I was a conscript, not a volunteer. My first real job was working for a South African commodity trading company, where my indoctrination into the perception of capital as the prime mover behind life was sealed. In 1983 I immigrated to Australia and switched from trading physical commodities to speculating on global financial money markets. I was diagnosed with a supposedly incurable life threatening illness. With my life at rock bottom, my attention turned from merely observing phenomenon at work outside of myself to seeking ways in which I could practically apply magic to create what I truly wanted: a life rich in health, wealth, love and creative expression.
