Director Brandon Freer talks about his short film Capsized, which earned two nominations at Action on Film recently, his new film 18%, his work with the March of Dimes and his advice for young filmmakers. Watch the trailer for Capsized here at this link! Look at Brandon's Website by clicking here! "Born and raised in Chicago, my passion for writing, film and art started at a very young age and has impacted my life in a multitude of ways. I won the Young Author's writing contest at the age of 12 and was accepted to a private art school by age 16. My current project "CAPSIZED" tells the story of a young bride-to-be who must find a way to save her fiancé from drowning in a cargo hold of a capsized cruise ship - using only a cell phone."

Then in the second half of the show, host William Powell welcomes Director Wyomme Pariss and the cast of the stage play Then Sings My Soul, a "musical with a message about domestic violence."

"Then Sings My Soul is a stirring production that brings the audience face to face with women and men who are in the fight of their lives. Their journey begins with trials and situations that threaten to rob them of their freedom, their joy, and even their souls."
