What we think and speak makes the difference in whether we can see the opportunity in the midst of a storm or crisis. If we allow fear to hold our thoughts hostage, what we fear will show up in our lives and block our ability to see opportunity. Speaking fears firmly establishes their presence. If the day brings challenges, fear won't make it better nor will it transform them into opportunities. In every crisis or challenge, there is a lesson that reveals the opportunity. What happens when we allow fear, worry and regret to rule us? We surrender our power. We fail to trust that we know what is best for us. We cannot act on our own behalf- stuck, unable to tap the deep well of our inner wisdom to make quality decisions. We cannot live our dreams because we are stuck in a nightmare. We are capable enough to shut down constant negative chatter in our heads and overcome our fears, worries and regrets.
