Jack says . . . I'm loving this stage of my life and am focusing on things that bring me joy, like enjoying my grandsons, Easy and Cedar, and letting folks know about Lessons from the Source: A Spiritual Guidebook for Navigating Life's Journey http://budurl.com/b37s.

Although I'm currently best known to many of you as the "author" of "Lessons from the Source: A Spiritual Guidebook for Navigating Life's Journey," publishing a book was never on my list of life priorities.

I've had a wonderful journey thus far, full of adventures and opportunities that I never would have dreamed of -- and, of course, my share of ups and downs. Was a Peace Corps Volunteer, ran for US Congress, managed four different nonprofit organizations in three different parts of the country, started my own business, became a voiceover artist, and have spent many hours over the years as a hospice volunteer, visiting with folks who are ready to end this journey and begin the next.

If you've read "Lessons from the Source," you'll know why I put "author" in quotation marks. For more than 30 years, I have been receiving and transcribing some remarkable spiritual teachings through a phenomenon I now know to be Inner Dictation (the same way in which "A Course in Miracles" and "Conversations with God" were received). They clearly were not coming from my conscious mind, but I didn't have a clue what was happening and was afraid to tell anyone about it. So it was a secret I kept to myself for most of my adult life.

Fortunately, as I got older and became less concerned about what others might think, I finally surrendered to the persistent inner nudges I had been receiving for years and decided to begin sharing these lessons with others.
