Bringing the soul into subjection

 Therefore, since the message throughout the book of Proverbs is filled with instructions or as some scholars termed principles for living; we must observe carefully how a human being can become capable of living out these truths to have a higher standard of behavior, before God and man. This higher standard is more than just displaying etiquette and good manners, it is a kind of living that exemplifies what is taking place on the inside and this is known as the way of righteousness. Righteousness is the general environment of the kingdom of the God, meaning that those who are in the kingdom are not only made righteous but are called to righteous living.
