We "Welcome" Dave Van Manen, Founder and Director of the Mountain Park Environmental Center, Beulah Colorado to our "In the Moment" Program. Admiration and Fortitude are two words that will be brought out in this visit with Dave. Dave is The Social Entrepreneur behind the Mountain Park Environmental Center in Beulah Colorado. During our visit on "In the Moment" Dave is going to share his love of the outdoors and nature; moreover, his role as an advocate for Nature and support the mission for Children and Adults to be aware and embrace the outdoors and nature in their own lives and have fun doing it. In 2000 he launched the non-profit with the mission of "Helping Folks Connect with Nature" through innovative educational and interpretive programs focusing on advancing the ecological literacy of the whole community. Visit with me as Dave shares how Nature provides an outdoor classroom for you and your children. He will talk about how the outdoors can turn into a lecture hall, classroom and a lab. His programs have received awards for educational programming. This discussion of the outdoors in Beulah Colorado Mountain Park Environmental Center and the Horseshoe Lodge will bring about an understanding on how Dave and the people of the Center are providing a living working example of how humans can fit into the ecology as a planet. He hopes all people of any age will listen to his story on why it is so important to protect our children and our Selves from Nature Deficit Disorder. Join me! Please email questions in advance at info@inthemomentwithadele.com so I can be sure that your questions are included in our discussion. This is going to be a special visit. As we are entering into our Christmas Season a bit of nature would be such a present to your children and adults family member, friends and colleagues.
