Why Does Our Ego Make Suggestions to Steer Us Away From Love?

It is a loud voice in our heads when we do not notice it is not us. It tells us not to try, that everyone is against us or that we are alone. It also gives us a false sense of self and tries to make us think we are better than others and that is our measurement of self worth. Then it comes in from another angel and tells us not to care about the people we care about and gets us to hurt each other on every level of its involvement in our lives.
