EVIL - NATURAL, NECESSARY, NON-EXISTENT?- July 16

Fred and I served in the US Air Force as psychiatric social workers. His specialties are literature, philosophy, and religion. His last visit he talked about his views on China where he has been teaching for several years.He teaches English to the medical staff in the largest teaching hospital in Northern China.He speaks,reads, and writes in several languages and has the ability to explain complex issues in both plain language and technical speak that can be frustrating. I’ll try to keep him doing the former.He and I will be discussing EVIL. Since both of us have demonstrated behaviors that others might call evil we may be too defensive, but you can judge for yourself and decide whether it is human social institutions that brain wash us to believe in evil or does it actually exist? Do you feel that you ARE evil or have evil thoughts and actions.
