Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey with Jere B: Promotion: Marketing and Booking!

Whew!  We have a LOT of ground to cover in a space of two hours!  Jere B - who blushes every time I describe him (LOL!) - will join me for our usual end-of-month episode.  We thought it might be a great idea to cover promotion and production.  Promotion by way of agents working FOR artists to help their music get heard.  And also promotion in terms of the booking of artists at venues.  We need to get specific so that artists can take notes and get a leg UP.  New ideas on production are noted at Jere B's blog, www.theentremusician.com.  You might be surprised!  Which is exactly why you need to hear this show :)

Our intention is to have guests join us who can enlighten and inspire.  Invitations are being sent out - and we are giving you the show at a different time, 7 p.m. Eastern.  We want an array of artists and professional promotion folks to be able to call and give any input regarding positive journeys toward goals.  We are all HUNGRY for positive feedback and direction, anyway.  To help musicians of all types is a win/win for ALL of us!

Something else that we might be discussing: a crowd funding endeavor that revolves around your show host :)  It has been LONG in pondering - now it's time to do something about it.  A move back North includes a home that was offered - in that home is a chance to build a full-time radio STATION.  Online.  If that can be done, all sorts of artists will get recognition that they might not ordinarily get.  Help will be there in Maryland to ease a transition as quickly as possible.  Green lights are saying GO in multiple ways.  Let's raise the consciousness for JAZZ in 2018 - can we?
