Where does one begin to cover an artistic journey that has spanned decades?  Our guest on 2/21/2017 is an astounding woman whose roots are on the West Coast.  Matter-of-fact, Jan Daley was "Miss California" long ago - and that opened doors for her.  Boy, did those doors ever OPEN!

Enthralled with the entertainment scene, little Jan had already made strides in musicals and television.  In her 20's, she didn't allow a little thing like cervical cancer slow her down.  Unbelievably, after doctors said it was impossible, she gave birth to a girl two years later!  Before and after that absolute MIRACLE, Jan was finding her way via singing wherever possible.  Guess who found her?  Bob Hope :)  He loved this sparkling blonde who wowed troops whenever they heard her - Bob would introduce her this way: "Here's our canary, Jan Daley!"  You've heard about Hope's USO World Tours.  Jan says that her time with Bob was an important time in her life.  And she created a project called "Where There's Hope" in tribute to him.

The Reader's Digest version of Jan Daley's life because we MUST shorten it for our purposes: this funny, fearless and (many critics agree) FLAWLESS singer, writer and actress has opened for LEGENDS that were part of our childhood.  Worked alongside of actors in films and TV that are household names.  She has created fascinating and accessible shows for all of us to appreciate great music.  One of those is called "Broadway Lights Up the Silver Screen" - and lucky folks in Beverly Hills, CA, have the chance to see this production on 2/25.

Frank Sinatra heard Jan Daley during her days with Bob Hope and exclaimed, "That Girl has GOT it!"  She always DID. Her EP will tell the story.  So will JAN - on 2/21.  Join us in The Chat Room at ONE ET.
