Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Saxophonist Lionel Lyles!

Really good memories have been made in Baltimore - and you're about to HEAR one of them on 10/23/2014 :)  Lionel Lyles has been firmly entrenched in the Charm City music scene for YEARS - even when he was attending North Carolina Central University.  

He formed his Quintet back in Morgan State University days - in 2000.  The worked that he turned out with his band has been noted in our region and beyond.  When "The Nightlife: The September Sessions" arrived on the scene, we were all convinced in town that Lionel was on his way.  But, he was intent on education.  He wanted no false steps in a journey that he considers both a musical one - and a spiritual one.  

His NEW CD "At the Precipice", will re-awaken those Jazz juices in you.  Lionel has a way of conveying "the masters" that he reveres in a refreshing way.  He's young and hip to the current music scene, but his preference - fortunately for us - is Jazz.  Oh, YES, that's what you'll hear on the next "Hybrid Jazz!"

Matter-of-fact, you'll get a sneak preview of Lionel's new work - he's sharing it with us!  And what we have in the mix to coincide with our friends's visit: artists from both Baltimore AND Florida.  Where the memories have been wonderful - and where the memories WILL BE so!  You'll find something that you like - that's a promise.
