Yes - I'm asking the same question: How Did Yours Truly Get So Lucky?  To have one fabulous artist on the show is wonderful enough - but TWO?!  Especially these two :)  Well, here's the method to the madness...David Bach and Andrew Neu will appear in concert together on June 8th!  It will not only be a CD release party for David (his "Otherworld" is doing wonderfully on the charts!)  But it will also mark the occasion of a benefit for the Towson High School Music Department! You talk about a subject that's close to ALL of our hearts!

We'll be talking about how both David and Andrew got involved in this project - and share music from both "Otherworld" and the latest from Andrew: "Everything Happens For a Reason."  There is so much that these profoundly talented gentlemen have in common.  They have experienced adventures in music that many don't pursue.  For example, David's classical training created a stirring in him to experiment with other genres.  He heard Progressive Rock with new ears because of his intense training - then, fell in love with Jazz while in Europe.  He wanted to formulate a kind of music that would incorporate all of the education but include the passion.  Multiple musical projects later, he has done just that. And won awards along the way!

One of the finest pianists will have one of the most versatile saxophonists with him on June 8th!  Like David, Andrew is also a composer - and a bandleader of astounding maturity, despite the fact that our Philly Friend is so young.  Having toured with Bobby Caldwell, Diane Schuur and Smokey Robinson is bound to give one confidence.  Being involved in big bands quite another boost - the sound involved is seasoned - like Andrew :)

You can best believe that we'll explore the journeys of our two guests - join us at one p.m. on 6/4!
