Oh - let's not stop at vocalist and saxophonist - let's run with composer, percussionist and future "Gentleman's Quarterly" magazine cover ;)  Darryl F. Walker is a multiple threat in the music business.  One of those special talents that keeps on surprising!

From what we understand, it took our guest quite a while to figure out what his true calling was...one of those situations where everyone told him how utterly fantastic he was - but Darryl finally understood, later in life, that his gift had to be shared.  We're so grateful!  He has been involved in the business via back-up vocals - you might have seen him on Craig Ferguson's Show - or you might have heard him sing jingles for Dole, Pringles, Toyota or Honeynut Cheerios.  The superstar, Luis Miguel, has thought so much of Darryl that he has used him on his pre-production team.  Those bi-lingual skills have come in handy for our handsome star!

How many if us have come to know Darryl is via the work that he has done with Greg Adams and East Bay Soul. Remembering the story that Greg told us one day is so funny NOW - but it was frustrating for Greg and wife, Andrea, then.  Greg had listened to dozens and dozens of voice tracks - looking for the perfect fit for his new band.  He was about to throw in the towel when he heard the captivating Mr. Walker.  Excited, he tracked him down - and the rest is blissful true funk soldier dreams-come-true.

East Bay Soul is about to start the Summer Tour - and we have Darryl just before he hits the road.  Let's get into the spirit of things with the remarkable "Hold Me" EP - released in 2013.  And talk to the man whose career has soared to new heights - with EBS or solo.  You'll hear the appreciation and gratitude in his voice.  It will match the gratitude that so many of US feel REGARDING that voice!   6/3/2014: magic!
