Chelsey is a classically trained violinist from Houston - born into a family of Jazz and Funk musicians - you see where this is going?  This bright and beautiful woman got the notion in her fabulous educational journey that she wanted to blend the grandeur of her instrument with the everyday accessibility of music.  The result is upscale, soulfully infused classic passion with Jazz sensibilities - breathtaking.  But you'll hear for yourself!

"The Green Violinist" - now based in the DC area - brings her Green Project to the Strathmere Mansion this Friday the 13th - she revels in the date, being the spiritually inclined lady that she is.  And you'll be celebrating, too, if you have the chance to hear Chelsey live!  She has played at the BET Studios, at the Kennedy Center, at the NAACP National Convention, and at the Mid-Atlantic Festival.  Her CD Release Party should be nothing short of fantabulous.  Which may or may not be a real word - but it describes Chelsey Green!
