Interesting analogy about Gianna Welling - born in Tulsa, spent time in Tennessee, and now lives in Texas.

She's not where she was, and she isn't where she WILL be.  That may be more than geographical ;)

Dad was a bass player and arranger, so music flowed through Gianna's home - and appreciation of multiple genres. That blueprint stuck after completion of her studies at Belmont University in Nashville.  After spending time in the city, absorbing the various styles that Music City has to offer, she was called upon to do session and jingle work.

That reputation spread to Houston, where she makes her current home.  Her adopted city has recognized Gianna as a star on the rise - and that's a strong belief shared by many.  Not only in Texas, Tennessee, and elsewhere in the States - but internationally.

When Kendall and Kelvis Duffie of Kloud 9 met Gianna, they knew that something special was about to take place.  It did: it' even has 'something' in the title: "Something True" was produced by Kendall (Incognito, Isley Brothers) features Donald Hayes on sax (Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan) and it launched somewhat of a frenzy in the U.K.  Two singles from the project and the album itself garnered "Best Of" placement on three of the United Kingdom's 2009 charts.

And Gianna is now on the path to follow up with (my title) "Something Two."  You'll hear how she perceives music - how she feels about Jazz - and what role she plays in being a 'Bridge."  It will be a fascinating and spiritually inclined conversation!

The show is three hours, starting at 1 p.m. Eastern time.  Gianna joins me at 2 - along with a lively Chat Room.  We hope that you can join us!
