Another three-hour show that will mirror what the new "Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey" will look like in February!  First up - at 1 p.m. Eastern time - it's four-time Grammy winner, Larry Carlton.  The legendary Master Guitarist has been lauded for years as one of the shining lights in Contemporary Jazz.  But he's no stranger to Rock, Soul, and  Pop circles, having toured or worked with Steely Dan, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson.  As you know, that's just the tip of a staggering iceberg!  Larry is about to depart for a Norwegian tour - and we'll catch up with him about his other plans for 2012.  And we'll discuss his musical project (close to this host's heart): "Larry Carlton Plays the Sound of Philadelphia: A Tribute to Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff."  Join us!

Next hour - from 2 to 3 - is music reflecting the diverse elements each of my guests brings to the show on Tuesday!

From 3 until 4, friend and revered Saxophonist Ron Kearns joins me.  Truth be told, Ron is also a Producer, Songwriter, Teacher and Mentor to literally dozens of accomplished musicians, and published Author!  Like Larry, Ron has an exciting 2012 to contemplate - and this Maryland-based Sage has a philosophy that will accompany him through the New Year: "Being average is being as close to the bottom as it is as close to the top."  When you've done as much as Ron in performance - and in sharing your gift with others - that gets said with certain credibility!  A splendid show is in the works - Jazz from both directions - and any road is cool to drive :)
