Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - w/N-Side AKA Norman Woods

About a year ago, I saw a clip from a cool film, called "Journey from the N-Side: An Unscripted Profile of a Jazz/Poet."  I was impressed with the focus of a man who was intent on breathing life into those who lived death.  A man whose own story would be enough to send mere mortals into a cave!  A few months ago, I befriended a man on Facebook whose name is Norman Woods.  I didn't know until recently that Norman and N-Side are one and the same :)  You talk about a situation that was supposed to be!  This extraordinary artist lives in California and has had a journey meant for a big star in Hollywood to play someday.  THAT kind of story, yes.  A spoken word artist, Norman as N-Side triggers the truth in us - makes us confront what we fear or what gives us joy.  He makes us think, forces us to recall what made us who we are, and enables us to feel hope when we may have thought we lost it.  This is his mission - you'll hear why when my new friend joins me.  www.journeyfromtheinsidemovie.com.  Take notes.  I'll ask questions on Tuesday, the 13th!
