Hybrid Jazz From Trish - with Kerensa Gray/Mycah Chevalier!

Welcome to The Birthday Show!  And my special gifts to YOU: scintillating vocalists Kerensa Gray and Mycah Chevalier :)  As solo artists, Kerensa and Mycah have blazed a trail in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.  Kerensa was the last winner of the Billie Holiday Vocal Competition - which had been a annual "must hear" event in Baltimore for years.  Mycah is an important component of the popular group, guiltypleasures.  And she also fronts her own band, The Roux Project.  Together, she and Kerensa have formed a union called "The Estrogen Session" - events feature both song and spoken word regarding their musical inspirations.  YOU will be inspired when you hear these abundantly talented women - who are passionate about Jazz and how they can spread the word!  Let's do that this Thursday, the 13th :)  And help me get ready for my birthday - by enjoying the music I heard growing up in Philly!
