Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Wallace Roney!

It's always good to have an artist on board with roots in Philadelphia - especially when the caliber of artist is so high.  Wallace Roney has seen, heard and played a LOT in his life.  By the time he was 40, he had been documented on over 250 recordings.  Taught by classical masters from the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Baltimore Symphony, Wallace knew his Jazz groove on that trumpet would emerge strong.  It may have been those lessons from Clark Terry and Dizzy Gillespie - and keepin-it-real mentoring by Miles Davis made the difference.  The Award-winning Wallace Roney has played with the greats in the business because they recognized the greatness in HIM.  This story is fascinating - join us on Thursday, September 29th - for a glimpse of Jazz history you may have heard nowhere else.
