Roland Mills has been studying nutrition and natural healing for 25 years. His passion, dedication and inspiration to discover “How the systems of the body work” to achieve health and balance was born from his own struggles for personal health. For him, the power of food as medicine was not a simple curiosity, but an attempt to discover a pathway to not only improve the quality of his life, but to save it.

Currently Roland is a Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Herbalist, and Certified Health Coach. He has a Master of Science in Nutrition and is a graduate of The Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy, and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Columbia University, New York. Roland is also a graduate of the AFMCP Program in Functional Medicine and continues advanced medical and nutritional studies with many medical, naturopathic, chiropractic and nutritional practitioners worldwide through The Institute for Functional Medicine. He is trained in all the different dietary theories, eastern and western nutrition, modern health issues, personal growth and development, and health counseling. He emphasizes that each individual is unique and that the environment of the human body and mind is inseparably connected to nature and the seasons of the earth. How one thinks is just as important as how one eats.

The life-changing question that Roland asks is; “How badly do you want to truly live your life. Not just exist within your life, but to live life with health and vitality, both mentally and physically.” It is a leap of faith for someone to answer this question and accept the challenge, but his desire is to share with all of us the Power we have to harm or to heal the body; the power wrong foods have to create illness, and the power right foods have to promote health and weight loss. To understand how food is the most powerful drug one can put in the body is the knowledge that will change lives
