November 1: The Eye Of The Storm

Hey Sandy, here's a big screw you from the Howitzer and Buzz-saw! On the heels of another natural disaster, that rocked the Eastern half of the country, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo say pick that head up and get those spirits back to full vigor! Don't let some cranky chick bring you down! Hurricane or not, she doesn't want to be on the sharp blades of the Buzz-saw's bad side. 

Another NBA season is here and this time with a bit of a different feel. LeBron James is now a champion. Let that set in for a moment. LBJ has a ring. How will the now crowned king and his team fair with even more swag? Can anyone stand in the Heats quest to continue their journey for "not 1, not 2, not 6?" Over in the West, the defending conference champions decided to avoid a season long drama and down size sending James Harden to Houston. Was this a wise move for a franchise that was just on the brink of a title last season? How will Harden do in his new role with the Rockets as THE MAN long term? The Lakers are still cruising in neutral. What's wrong in La La Land? Are they still a threat and how long before this All-Star team of sorts finds their stroke? 

Dust of those sneakers and get on the court. The HBS takes to the hardwood to set up another NBA season of slams, jams, asinine soap opera like sagas, LeBron, Kobe, and more LeBron. 

Another week in the second annual HBS NFL Pick'em Challenge continues. Get this?! The Buzz-saw is now playing with a lead! We know him as a pestering never say die comeback beast, but what will happen with this functioning lunatic going at it ahead? George may need to complete a hail marry pass to avoid Mike's blitz.
