A true 80’s baby, Buttonz was born and raised in East St. Louis, IL., and has been a truly remarkable individual since the days of elementary school. Having such a diverse background, and being very much involved in music at an early age, he was destined to be someone great. From break dancing duplicating the moves of Michael “Turbo” Chambers, and Ozone of Breakin, to growing up listening to Hip Hop artist like Rakim, EPMD, and Tupac just to name a few. His journey to become a great artist would be a long and hard journey, but he was willing strive as hard as possible to reach his goal of becoming a star.

Coming up through high school, English was one of the few of his favorite subject. Infatuation with putting words together in a very artistic form, Performing Theatre in high school gave him the chance to also openly express his creative ability to act. Coming up in church, where he spent many Sundays battling his cousin, and friends while people watched, showed his true ability of what he would later become to be. A great artist that paints visual pictures with words. He joined a group called YNK “Young N Krazy”, that led him in his attempt to start performing at live shows.
