In 2006 Rebekah at the age of 18 months was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyo Sarcoma. Which was attacking her reproductive system. At this time there were only 7 documented cases of just such a cancer. Treatment began instantly which entailed very aggressive forms of chemotherapy, which lead up to total removal of all reproductive organs. Then after this they felt that things were great and all cancer had been removed, until a catscan would reveal the cancer had spread throughout her little body. Within six weeks of this dreadful diagnosis baby girl Rebekah was taken home to be with her father in heaven. Or as her mommy and daddy say their princess went home to meet her King….very cute.

As the Grant family tried to delve into a “normal” life without their twin daughter, tradgedy would strike yet again in the form of another cancer in their other twin baby girl Rachel. A completely different cancer actually completely unrelated. Where as Rebekahs was a muscle cancer, now Rachel has leukemia.

Now was the time to reach out and grab onto hope, however they could find it they knew they MUST find hope. Please tune in and hear this heartwarming story about how God shows up even in the most hideous of circumstances. Hope shines through.
