IONC Certification:

The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) is a voluntary, non-profit organization founded in 1983. Its mission is to establish, uphold and advance the standards of qualifications, competence and conduct of those who practice Orthomolecular and Holistic nutrition as a profession to better provide public access to quality practitioners. IONC grants the professional designations R.O.H.P or Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner and R.N.C.P. or Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, to individuals who have graduated from IONC approved educational training institutes and who have the knowledge, skills, training, and qualifications to practice Orthomolecular and Holistic nutrition. IONC has within its membership base, ROHPs and RNCPs who are nurses, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, dentists, homeopaths, veterinarians, acupuncturists, herbalists, iridologists, and massage therapists.
