Join us this eveing for an on air celebration of a time for seeding... Imbolc. A festival of Light, Imbolc lights the candles (Candlemas) of new beginnigs, the return of the Sun (light) and Spring cleaning! Brigid's Day, Imbolc honors the Celtic goddess of fire, fertility, midwifery and the young. Imbolc may be related to Candlemas and Groundhog Day, and indeed there is evidence from early Irish lore surrounding weather divination this time of year. Ariel Monserrat and Tom Donahue, from Green Egg Magazine, Ruthann Amarteifio, Nicole Tomassini and Gwen Holden Barry join to celebrate.
