Linda Alexander was diagnosed w/Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma in Aug of 2010. She started chemo in September & completed chemo 2/1/2011. Linda had been diagnosed w/Lupus & auto-immune issues years before, & was told while in chemo that folks w/Lupus may be prone to blood cancers.

Linda Alexander has written since she was a child. She grew up starry-eyed amid the ‘70s entertainment scene, ultimately writing about well-known figures in movies and on TV. In time she figured out how to work all that fascinating detail into biographies and novels.

Linda’s latest book, released in November of 2011, is A Maverick Life: The Jack Kelly Story, premiere biography of long-running TV star, and 50s film star, Jack Kelly. BearManor Media is her publisher, an established house which as its media states puts out “new books on classic stars.” Previously, she wrote and published the biography of Golden Era movie star, Robert Taylor, Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism.

She is an adjunct faculty member at Frederick [Maryland] Community College, with her popular course, “Getting Into Character: How To Develop Your People.” She teaches writers how to listen to, and have wonderful conversations with, the voices in their heads.
