Raised By An Abusive Mom with Dissociative Identity Disorder

Growing up, Paula's life was not only confusing, but a living hell. Her mother had Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and one of the alters constantly tortured her, psychologically and physically, to the point of even trying to kill her. It was so bad, that at 8 years old, young Paula even tried ending her own life. Today, Paula is 50 and she comes onto the HealthyPlace Mental Health Radio Show to get her story out - for her own healing and "so I don't have to carry it around in my head any longer."
