Health Liberty: GMO:Frankenfood and your Family

All living things have been wondrously and marvelously made by our Creator and are unique and distinct unto their kind.  The Bible says numerous times in Genesis Chapter One that  everything is made “after its kind. Consequently, all living organisms, including plants, animals, man, bacteria, viruses, etc. have unique gene codes written into their DNA. These gene codes are the blueprints that make each species distinct. Each gene is designed to carry out a specific trait or function within that particular species or organism. DNA is the primary genetic material that contains and transmits this biological information from generation to generation. Through novel advances in biotechnology, geneticists are now able to artificially modify the DNA code within a species (organism) by transferring specific gene traits from one organism to another. Hence, the term genetically modified organism (GMO).

Scripture for the teaching: And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:11-12
