The Listening Bridge

Every morning since last August I have been posting some thoughts for the day on Twitter. Today's post was:

"I look forward to the day when discussions between people with widely opposed political, religious and personal views include the phrase, "I don't understand why you feel the way you do, but I'd like to try. Can you explain it to me?". 

If real listening follows...so can peace."

Based on the response that I received, I wanted to expand on it in today's walk.  When we open a dialogue, miraculous things can happen!
