It is amazing to consider that through the internet, we each have access to the collective knowledge of human history.  In moments, we can have information at our fingertips that a few short decades ago would have required days and possibly weeks of research.  One of the aspects of this is social media, which has become and increasingly powerful communcication tool.  While it has its light aspect, it also carries a shadow aspect as well.  Today we'll be looking at the increasing trend to bring health issues into the arena of public opinion.  I have been rather amazed at what is shared and especially when it involves requests for medical advice.  Aquiring a variety of viewpoints and suggestions is wonderful...it's just important to keep the advice in perspective and consider the source.
