Having a Holy Heart with Pure Motives

God tells us to be Holy just as He is Holy. Leviticus 11:44; 20:26 &  I Peter 1:13-16  He is not asking us to be something we cannot be.  What does being Holy mean?  I Corinthians 4:5 tells us when Jesus returns, "He will bring to light what is hidden from darkness and will expose the motives of the heart."  At that time each will receive their praise from God.  God wants us to know He sees what no one else sees.  He rewards those whose hearts are right towards Him.  We can keep our hearts holy before the Lord by continually surrendering every part of our hearts to the control of the Holy Spirit.  The Lord desires to heal our hearts in every way. Let's look at motives and being holy.
