Perhaps New York Times bestseller Bart Ehrman is correct. Maybe there is no God, no saving Jesus, and no hope. But that’s okay because without God, there’s no hell either. The idea that only Christians will spend eternity in the bliss of heaven while everyone else burns in hell, is “misguided and toxic and ultimately subverts the contagious spread of Jesus’ message of love, peace, forgiveness, and joy that our world desperately needs to hear,” writes Mars Hill pastor Rob Bell.

Thanks to these and other great thinkers, I’ve seen the light. Blinded by it in fact. And this enlightenment leads me to conclude that Christianity is the greatest hoax ever fostered upon mankind. As of today, I am resigning my position as editor of Christian Devotions Ministries. This is my last devotion. To everyone who has believed my tripe about sin and salvation, healing and hope, I apologize. I meant you no harm. I was simply a misguided convert carried away by the cult-like power of my naïve convictions.
