Last week First Lady Michelle Obama released a report on Childhood Obesity. Angela Glover Blackwell the CEO of Policylink.org and an Adviser to First Lady Michelle Obama on the Lets Move Campaign returns to our show to discuss the report. Michelle Bouchard, President of HealthCorps will also talk to us on this topic. HealthCorps was founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz. HealthCorps strives to educate students about the benefits of a healthy diet and regular exercise. Matthew Green of ActiveVoice.net will tell our listeners about the efforts to educate the public about making informed food choices with their Ingredients for Change Campaign which uses the film Food, Inc. as an advocacy and education tool to address food access and dietary health in low income communities throughout the country.
