Guest: Jack McClaren is a career Pinal County law enforcement officer with more than 19 years service in the County, including serving as a Sheriff’s Commander.  He is running in the Republican Primary for Pinal County Sheriff under the banner to Restore Integrity to the Office of Sheriff.

Jack McClaren is a known public servant, having been elected as a County Constable in 2010 and serving until this past May, when in compliance with Arizona’s “resign to run” law he stepped down to file his candidacy for Pinal County Sheriff.  He is a 36 year Pinal County resident and Arizona native.

He is a U.S. Army veteran and is the graduate of management and leadership courses from both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona.  His community work includes being the current Board Vice President of the Girls and Boys Clubs of Apache Junction and a volunteer Police Officer with the Florence Police Department.

Among those supporting Jack McClaren are past Pinal County Sheriff and Arizona Department of Public Safety Director Roger Vanderpool; retired Pinal County Sheriff’s Commander Shane Blakeman; and Apache Junction Police Chief Gerald Monahan.  Jack is also endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police and the Apache Junction Professional Fire Fighters, along with other community and business leaders.
