We are discussing  Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett's request for Hawaii to verify Obama's birth place. A Hawaii official sent Bennett's office verification of birth for President Obama on Tuesday, according to both Bennett and Hawaii officials.

From Bennett's point of view the issue has been resolved. He's satisfied with the information he received. Obama from his perspective  Obama is eligible to appear on the Arizona November Presidential ballot.Joshua A. Wisch, special assistant to the attorney general in Hawaii, said the matter had been resolved.
