So this morning as I quieted my mind to meditate/connect to my Higher Self, I couldn't help but notice how loud the music was. As I got quieter I continued to lower the volume of the music. I stopped and thought about how loud the music was. How loud I had to have the music to hear it over the noise in my head. I sat and pondered this. How often is my mind that loud? The amount of noise in my head was in direct relationship to my connection. Or lack of it.
Quieting your mind more often has a lot of benefits. Meditation is just a great place to be focused in that deliberateness.
