John Green, Executive Producer from Buttermilk and Cornbread Films Joins me

John Green is a New England native of Waterbury, Connecticut.  He was born on January 26,

and currently resides in Northeast Philadelphia. Green, is the proud father to four grown

daughters and a son, and has three grandchildren. Green is also, a Vietnam era Veteran, and

served in the U.S. Marine Corps, as a Combat Engineer (1971-1976) with the 2

and 3rd Marine Divisions, and completion of two overseas tours of duty.

Green’s background business experience and formal education and formal training which

covers a thirty-year span, consist of the following: Having recently successfully completed a 14-

week Small Business Management Certificate in The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s

‘First Step FAST TRAC,’ program, designed to assist and provide entrepreneurs with the

technical tools of business ownership. Courses completed were Business planning, accounting,

finance, legal, taxes, insurance, and marketing. Other training received previously consisted of

grant proposal writing, research and organizational development and planning.
