Guys Talk Time With Carl Reed CSUCI Athletic Director

Join Keith and Peter for our show on men, women and living well. Our guest this week is Carl Reed, CSUCI's new Athletic Director, formerly an athletic drector at Stanford University. "Carl comes to Channel Islands with a breadth of experience in athletic programs and facility and event management," university President Richard R. Rush said. "While at Stanford University, Carl helped their athletic program to win the annual NACDA Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, previously known as the Sears Cup, given to colleges and universities with the most success in collegiate athletics within various NCAAsponsored championships. Stanford has won it 14 straight years, winning 14 out of the 15 years it has been offered. . . . "We are eager to welcome him to the campus and introduce him to our local communities," Rush said. In his new role as athletic director, Reed will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating a comprehensive intercollegiate athletics program as part of the university's focus on wellness.
