Festival of Booths: Feast of Tabernacles Series

GUTS Study Series: Nehemiah 8:2-3, 13-18. Key Verse: Nehemiah 8:17

The Festival of Booths and Ezra's readings were an observation of the Isrealites' wilderness exile and the giving of the Law.

Objectives: 1. That we will know the importance of observing God's law. 2. To remember to study God's Word and make the Word central to our lives. 3. To learn how the Isrealites celebrated God's Word and how you can celebrate God's Word in your life. 4. To understand that observing and celebrating God's Word in joy are ways to acknowledge the presence and power of God. 5. That we will understand how the Israelites celebratedthe reading and observation of God's Law in light of their wilderness exile.
