Transformational Objectives: To tell how Boaz met Ruth and Naomi's need for survival; reflect on an appropriate response to a need of someone we know; and determine ways to help meet someone's need.
Objectives: 1. Describe the kindness that Boaz showed to Ruth while she was gleanning in his field. 2. Compare and contrast the manner in which Ruth was able to provide for herself and her mother-in-law with programs by which the governement and/or the church help the poor today. 3.Suggest a way that we can empower the poor as ruth was empowered.

Thought to remember: Treat others as God treats you.
