God Expects Obedience Series

Bible Study: Joshua 1:7-18. Key Verse: Joshua 1:7 "Be thou strong and very Courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest." 

Objectives:

1. To summerize God's expectation and the people's response.
2. To Compare and contrast God's expectations of the ancient Israelites with His expectations of Christians today.
3. Confess one area where we are not meeting God's expectations and make plans for change.

Self-examination:

1. What biblical principal of obedience do you most struggle with? why?
2. What areas of meditation do you find to be the most beneficial spiritually?
3. Under what circumstances are you most afraid to move forward for God? Do you overcome your fear? If so, how do you over come your fear?
