Acceptance in Community Part 1

Bible Study Based on Ruth 2:5-12; 3:9-11. Key Verse: Ruth 3:11 Our Biblical truth is God can help us develop a sensitivity and concern for marginalized people or "outsiders." Some of the objectives we hope to achieve in this series. 1. That we will recognize how Boaz's response to Ruth demonstrates the values of grace and acceptance. 2. That we will reflect upon a time when we gained acceptance into a new community and acknowledge the ways in which Jesus helped us deal with it. 3. That we understand God's desire for us to embrace others. 4. That we will invite someone outside our usual circle of friends to partake in a meal or church service.
