About the Guest:

Michael was licensed by the NRC as a Reactor Operator in 1983. He then formed his own consulting company providing operations, change management, strategy development, and training services to over 50% of the operating nuclear plants in the US, and now other business sectors around the world. Michael was the first Lead for DHS to incorporate the private sector into the largest disaster response exercise in the US. He is the Executive Director of HISG.org, an international NGO operating in 130+ countries, and helped build the International Disaster Response Network (www.IDRN.info) now operating in 35+ countries.
