With over 20 years of acting experience, the ability to deliver the gospel with rhythmical poetry and a desire to inspire audiences to develop an intimate relationship with God, Joaquin Thomas has spent the last 6 years ministering through spoken word to crowds all over St Louis, East St Louis and Kansas City.
After dedicating his life to Christ while in college, Joaquin began writing songs and poetry for the Lord and continued to hone his craft after he felt the call of God to use the art of poetry to spread His Word.
By combining his background as a performer and his passion for the Word of God, Joaquin has written and performed life changing pieces with subjects ranging from the negative effects of pride and ography to the benefits of breaking strongholds and salvation. Joaquin released his first album named 13 Words last year that combined Spoken Word with music.
Joaquin has been married to his lovely wife Ashley for 6 years and they have a daughter named Saraiah. They are both highly active at Metro Christian Worship Center, their church home. 

Joaquin continues to use the engaging and personal art of poetry to boldly declare the truth of God’s word to a generation that is in a state of spiritual dehydration.
