Russian authorities arrested democracy and anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny on January 17 at a Moscow airport after he landed on a flight from Berlin.  Navalny had been recuperating there following an August 20, 2020, nerve agent poisoning in Russia that almost cost him his life, almost certainly perpetrated by Russian state authorities.   Since his arrest, protests demanding his release have erupted across Russia.  Aaron Korewa, an expert on Nordic and East European security with the McCain Institute, will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss Navalny's case.  What does it say about Vladimir Putin's dictatorial rule in Russia and its prospects for future democratic reform.
