Keith L. Magee is an internationally sought after non-profit leader, speaker, and preacher. After being elected to the Royal Society of the Arts of the United Kingdom, he took an appointment as Distinguished Senior Fellow on Race, Religion and Poverty, University of Birmingham (UK), Institute of Advanced Study, where is he exploring The Gospel Exchange: Social Justice vs. Prosperity Gospel and the Impact on the Poor. His collective areas of focus include race and poverty, African American migration and religious history, and faith and politics.

He served, for five years, as the founding director, National Public Housing Museum and Center for the Study of Housing and Society, Chicago, IL. He successfully led a $7 million capital campaign to open the Museum and Center, which is committed to being a living cultural experience on social justice and human rights. He took the appointment after serving as a senior religious affairs advisor with the Obama for America campaign and as a senior director at the Museum of African American History-Boston and Nantucket.
