For many generations now California & New York have been considered destination spots for Americans to express personal freedoms. A welcome for open minds and personal liberties accepted by it's Government and its people.

 

But such attitudes have drastically changed, according to The “Freedom in the 50 States” study published last week. New York & California are NOW dead last.

 

The survey is based on fiscal issues such as job prospects, tax rates, regulatory policies, property rights & personal freedoms such as gun laws. “When it comes to overall freedom, New York ranks last, & New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has taken away – or at least tried to take away – several personal freedoms, including his failed effort to outlaw the sale of sodas 16 ounces and larger. NY City is the TAX Capitol of the WORLD.

Now come The Tax Capital of the World New York City. YES the city because on top of A 10.55% STATE income tax the city of New York for ALL pay 2.907% to 3.648%.simply for the honor of living in A city which already has the HIGHEST RENT for any inncer city on the planet.

 

California has A Gasoline Tax: 46.6 cents per. gallon & A Cigarette Tax: 87 cents per pack and it applys to A Carton of 10 so that in itself is $8.70 extra for bulk.
