The struggle with understanding the needs of individual's rights versus the rights of the power of government must never be compromised or silenced or it will lead to political destruction within the state.A public figure should not let his actions be determined by particular interests and if he does, it is the same ethical problem as that of a judge or law enforcement agent who accepts a bribe. Public figures are poised to consider what is right not what is advantageous to a party or class. Corruption is directly proportionate to the greed for power. The object of civil society is justice, not truth, virtue, wealth, knowledge, glory or power. Liberty is defined by morals more than of politics. Men cannot be made good by the laws of a state or nation, but man can easily be made bad when empowered to create laws of a nation.

When someone possesses control and authority over others, they can become infected with evil and wicked behaviors which begin to dominate and destroy their minds.  Hitler was perceived as a hero by many and a very intelligent man until his cruelty outweighed his intelligence. His callous actions were provoked by his malicious ambition for power.

The applied rules for obtaining power necessitate that regardless of whether or not one begins down a path toward power with innocence, by repeating these acts to truly succeed unleash an aggressive spirit.  The acts required for obtaining power are the type of acts many would categorize as corrupt. For those who find success and power, their animal “survival of the fittest” mentality become so dominant over time that it becomes the only way of thinking. And in such positions of power, with nobody to resist them, they are now in a position of doing whatever without fear of consequence. Leaders cannot exist on their own; they must be reigned in to be part of the greater consciousness of human beings.
